We are pleased to announce that Donna R. Fugit, Ph.D. has joined our firm. Donna has over twenty years of intellectual property experience in both private practice and with corporations. As a member of senior management in biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies, Donna has handled all areas of intellectual property, including licensing, strategic alliances, portfolio management and strategy, preparation and prosecution of applications, due diligence related to acquisitions and mergers, and validity and infringement analysis. Her practice focuses on molecular biology and molecular genetics including nucleic acid, protein and immunological pharmaceuticals, molecular diagnostics, recombinant cell lines for high throughput screening and drug discovery, recombinant production of bioactive molecules, and the assays and instrumentation relevant to these technologies. Her responsibilities in corporate management have included participation in all areas of the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical businesses, including providing intellectual property support for corporate development, finance, marketing, regulatory affairs and medical affairs.
